We are not an adoption agency nor involved in placement of children for adoption.  Rather, we handle all the legal aspects of finalizing adoptions in the following types of cases:

  •   Step-Parent Adoptions (Including termination)
  •   Private Adoptions
  •   Adoptions through Private Adoption Agencies
  •   Adoption of children placed by the Texas Department of Family and   Protective Services (DFPS)

Since the brochure contains answers to many proceedural questions often asked of adoptive parents, we have made it available on this website.
Getting Started -

When you are ready to begin the adoption process, or if you need an estimate on fees and costs, please complete and submit our adoption questionnaire. In addition to the questionnaire, you will also need to complete the 'Notice of At Risk Adoption' and, print out, complete, and sign the 'Certificate of Adoption' and return it to us with an original signature. If you have a case through CPS you will also need to sign the Payment Authorization form. Our questionnaire and other forms may be found here.

Note: You may print out the forms and fax them to us at 361-993-1313 or bring them with you to your appointment.
